There was a moment in my life that I’m not going to linger on when I was in some danger. And one of the things I was offered in those days by the british police was weapon training.
They said we’ll take you to the police shooting range, we’ll train you, you can become a crack-shot, have a gun at home and can protect yourself. And I actually declined that offer. Because I thought that the kind of person I know myself to be it would be very difficult for me to point a gun at somebody and shoot them.
And what happens if you have any doubt about using the gun, the gun will be used against you. It’ll be taken away from you and used against you.
If you had the training you might felt differently.
